Our origins go back to the 1950s, in Ágreda (Soria) whose climate is perfect for drying cod. In 1994, work began on the current factory, which was expanded in 1997.
At present, the factory boasts a production space spanning 7,000 m2. Our investment in the physical space combined with our excellent technological resources puts us ahead of other businesses in the sector, and gives us the ability to adapt to future requirements.
Quality is guaranteed based on strict controls carried out from the time we receive the fish to the time it leaves our shelves. We combine tradition, experience and state-of-the-art technology. Proof of this can be seen in the various certificates awarded to us, including from the BRC, IFS and MSC.
We also have a laboratory where we check and select all the catches that enter our factory. In this way we are able to ensure that all cod handled in the kitchen - regardless of the form that it comes in - shares the same standards of hygiene and technology.
